‘Promises Promises’ was the first single taken from their second album, ‘Kick Up the Fire, and Let the Flames Break Loose’. The album was recorded at Bleak House (their own studios) and used more electronic sounds into the tracks. ‘Promises Promises’ main riff is based on the guitar line of Sonic Youth's ‘Drunken Butterfly’.
